Shoulder Training
You can do it as Prehab work today
Or you can wait until you get hurt and do it as Rehab work tomorrow - either way your gonna have to do these exercises if you want to “Play Hard” in life.
Learn them now, before you have to!
The 2 exercises here are for shoulder external rotation because everyone’s external rotators are weak.
1️⃣ single arm rotation
Use a loop band stand on with opposite foot, light to moderate resistance
2️⃣ 90/90 rotation with OHP
The toughest part of this one is completing an OHP without letting your arms get pulled forward- if they do, move in or use a lighter band.

Stability Based Strength
This is an advanced Bulgarian Split Squat. Once you’ve moved up the ladder in both strength and stability exercises this one is a great exercise to add to your arsenal.
☑️Split squats are great for lifting heavier loads when you have limitations (due to injury) on what you can lift with standard squat or deadlift.
☑️Split squats can really help you work through a greater ROM
☑️Unilateral exercises help you with joint stabilization and are more functional
☑️adding the kettlebells on the bar end with elastic bands drastically increases the stabilization demand for your entire body.
5x5 with 95 lbs here absolutely torched my legs.
We often use exercises like this during our deload training weeks because the stabilization demands are so high the exercise still feels intense but you are forced to keep the weights lighter which allows the joints to recover from heavy weight training.
