Impacted wisdom teeth symptoms can vary from person to person. For some, there are no symptoms at all but for many, these hidden teeth can cause serious trouble. #WisdomTeeth

Impacted wisdom teeth symptoms can vary from person to person. Some of the symptoms include:
• Jaw pain
• Swollen, tender or bleeding gums
• Bad breath
• Discomfort when opening mouth
• Unpleasant taste in the mouth
However, wisdom teeth also can be impacted and show no symptoms. Remember, “pain-free” does not mean “disease-free.” Wisdom teeth should be checked annually.

It was a pleasure to recently treat Leilani. Although she came in very nervous and in pain, she was thankful for the level of compassion and care she received at our practice. We appreciate her confidence in our treatment and taking the time to share her positive experience with us!
Dr. Menis recently had the honor of doing the promotion ceremony for his shipmate, 2nd Class Petty Officer Johnson, to 1st Class Petty Officer, a tremendous achievement! Petty Officer 1st Class Johnson is finishing his undergraduate education and has plans to attend dental school. We had the pleasure of hosting him in our office for a “shadow” day. Bravo Zulu Petty Officer 1st Class Johnson! You make our Nation proud and will be an asset to the dental profession.
Wishing you health, happiness, and a wonderful Thanksgiving!
