Work & School From HOME?
Probably desk setups are not as ergonomically ideal as at work, so here are some tips!
1) If you are using a Laptop, try to get the screen at eye level or above. You don't want to be looking DOWN too much, this causes neck pain, shoulder pain, and headaches.
2) Of course if you raise your laptop, you probably would need an extra keyboard that can be plugged into the USB port. You don't want your shoulders all scrunched up high, this will cause shoulder and upper back pain.
3) Set a timer and get up and MOVE every 30 minutes!
4) Since most of us don't have an adjustable up/down desk, you might try standing with your laptop on the kitchen counter for part of your day.
5) Chairs: keep knees below hips if possible and an adjustable chair is better so as not to keep pelvis locked in same position all day, again, standing part of your day might help.
6) Please do NOT sit on the couch with your legs up, or on your bed to work on laptops or study!!! Use a desk or counter and USE GOOD POSTURE! Back straight. Shoulders back. Chin up!

Hello Dear Patients and Friends,
I hope this finds you all well and healthy. After 2+ weeks of not working, I have ventured back in to treat "Emergency Only" patients.
I will be working very limited hours and only 2 different days for the time being. If this is truly an emergency, please call the office 303-678-0266 and leave me a message. I am able to check messages remotely and will be doing just that. I must evaluate over the phone to determine if your condition falls under the "emergency requirements".
If so, I am then able to schedule an appointment in the office.
We are taking all precautions of sanitizing rooms, myself, etc. Upon coming to the office, you will have a temperature scan at the door and Covid19 questions asked. If you have a fever, you will be sent home.
I am here for you....if needed. Please reach out to me via phone. I don't often check this Facebook page, but have posted this as a way to "notify" any who are on this page.
Our office will hopefully reopen for regular hours on the 27th of April, but only time will tell.

Hello Friends of Family Chiropractic Clinic,
This is Dr Brenda...by now most of you know that Governor Polis placed a "Prohibition on all Chiropractic Offices" in our state. Thus, we have closed our doors. I would like to be able to tell you when we will reopen (hopefully on April 15th) but that is still not 100% confirmed! I am very sad by this and believe me, if I could I would be in the office taking care of each of you! Know that I check our phone messages and emails often and will call you back in a timely manner. If you want to schedule an appointment, when we get the go ahead to be open, leave me a phone message and I will place you on our "call when open" list.
In the meantime, please stay healthy, drink lots of water, go for a walk -Get some Vitamin D, stretch, decrease stress, eat healthy and know that I continue to pray for each one of you.
