What a beautiful day for our Annual Staff Party! We haven’t been together in one room since March 20th and have missed being able to connect in person. Today was much needed even if we were mostly masked and/or distanced. We had delicious food from Just Rennie's Catering & Cookie Co., a fun corn hole competition, gorgeous sunshine, lots of laughs, a lovely hike but the pleasure of each other’s company was the best ever! We have the best crew and feel so lucky to be together. Thanks to Chan, Rachel, Megan, & Jess for your help putting this together.

It is a special day at Within Sight! We get to sing the praises and celebrate one of our own! Blake Steagall, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, has recently received her certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This certification process is rigorous and requires 6 days of intense psycho-educational training and practice followed by 10 hours of consultation. After the initial training, one must continue in their education with an approved EMDR consultant obtaining 20 hours of individual and group consultation and use EMDR with a certain percentage of clients. Finally, one must also complete formal continuing education in EMDR during this time period. Blake did all this during a cross country move and starting a new job! Anyone who works with Blake knows she has a passion for EMDR. We are so proud of your determination and dedication to to complete this process and enhance your clinical skill set! Way to go, Blake!
