LUXE FACTOR • This bathroom is flooded with natural light, beautiful materials, and an amazing view! A @walkerzanger water-jet mosaic creates art on the shower walls, while large slab pieces of Cararra marble are laid in a herringbone pattern within a thick Grigio slab marble border. We wanted to give an art deco feel to this bathroom with the added 1928 Muarano glass vintage chandelier. The walls did not get overlooked, as the most luxurious velvet + silk stripe @artewalls wallpaper was installed throughout.

DETAIL ORIENTED This luxurious kitchen we designed in Lake Sherwood, CA, is full of distinct details, all carefully chosen to make a big impact, while remaining elegant and timeless. The surfaces showcase the finest Calacatta marble slab countertops with a custom 3” and 4” custom designed edge, @walkerzanger Water-jet backsplash, @houseofrohl faucets in polished nickel, @carterhardware Edgar Berebi Hardware, and many more things not shown in these images. We particularly love how the light reflects over the surfaces, casting beautiful shadows.

CLASSIC CONTEMPORARY ✧ It is so important for our design team to respect the personality of our classic projects, however we enjoy injecting bold details to contemporize the interiors for our discerning clients’ lifestyle. We dared to add this graphic pattern tile on some of the floors while keep the rest of the surfaces neutral. Needless to say, there was no expense spared in this Spanish Revival project in Los Angeles.

LAKE INSPIRED TEEN CAVE🌄 Nothing says lake, more than “chinking” on the walls of your log cabin inspired interior. Over the top finishes in this room include: 100 year old reclaimed wooden walls, copper tile ceiling and crown molding, antique antler décor, suspended custom wall mounted beds with leather paneling, a full concession stand, surround sound, and (not seen) custom made sectional with the most lux deep blue @ralphlauren corduroy fabric. What a dream of a room!

PINKAHOLICS 💓 At VPA+D we love pink, and all hues of pink! For this young lady we wanted to keep her bedroom girly, but at the same time design a space that she can grow into. We combined soft and blush pink tones with champagne metals, grey washed oak woods, and fluffy textures. The final product turned out to be a very sophisticated room.
Designers tip: When you have a vaulted ceiling the use of a canopy bed helps fill up and balance the space.

TEEN CRIB 🎸We love when our clients ask us to go all out designing their kid’s bedrooms, as there are so many themes, color palettes, and personalities to be inspired from. Nothing says young adult more than the rust finish on your walls, metal piping and leather bed, custom vintage leather ottoman, and much more. In this room no detail was left out, from arcade games to a guitar center, and seating area. This teen crib is the perfect space to take a school break, relax, and hang out with friends!

CURATING 🗯 Space planning this home carried significant importance to successfully delineate the open space into well designed zones. Using the unique existing mid-century architecture as a guide instead of a hurdle, we created a suitable layout and interior architectural details that embraced the low sloping roof lines. We completed this look with black + brass accents, pops of patterns, and edited décor.
