Good News this morning as more people return to work in July than was anticipated.
July Jobs Report reflects that the economy was able to bring 1,800,000 Americans back to work. Although the rate of job gains was slower in July than June (as a result of the uptick in COVID cases) it is still great news for 1,800,000 people who have gone back to work and that is a lot of families who are now earning again.
Overall unemployment rate at 10.2 so we have a long way to go to return to healthy employment...but good gains in July all things considered.
One last thought...I am grateful that we operate in a business wherein we can get up every morning and not have to wait to be called back to work!. Our Agents can just get prospecting for business and control their and our destiny!

Great news everyone. Kern County is experiencing an incredibly strong real estate market even in the midst of the pandemic. Pending sales in July this year are up 22% over July 2019! This is a very welcoming rebound. Closed sales are up 1.7% which bodes well for what is for most people their largest source of net worth. Interestingly available inventory is down over 46.7%, so what and incredible time this is to sell!

I want to share a huge Congrats to the Espinoza family who realized homeownership again! We have been neighbors and friends for the past 9 years, our kids are close friends and have grown up together, they are more like family! We will miss them tremendously, but won't be far luckily! I am so grateful for them, allowing me the opportunity to help them through the process of buying a home! Big thank you to Christy White with Summit Funding for helping them with their loan!
