Led by Rachel Ricafort, MD, FAAP, the team at Smyrna Pediatrics provides comprehensive pediatric medicine to infants, children, and adolescents living in Rutherford County and the surrounding area of Smyrna.
At Smyrna Pediatrics, Dr. Ricafort and the team provide high-quality, personalized care to help all of their patients feel like family. The waiting room is large and welcoming and each of the examination rooms is child-friendly, which helps ease the anxiety of a medical visit.
Our office specializes in the care of children. Each specialist is board certified and maintains continuing education in their specialty in order to provide an integrative, traditional approach to patient care.
Dr. Ricafort dedicates time to spend with each child and works to provide the best medical care possible. The office atmosphere at Smyrna Pediatrics is calming and open, and our team answers questions thoughtfully, helping parents raise healthy, active, and confident children. Several of the office staff members are also fluent in Spanish.
The team offers a full suite of pediatric services, including diagnosing and treating asthma, general pediatrics, immunizations, newborn care, physicals, sick visits, treatment of urgent minor injuries, and well-child checkups. We also offer same-day and next-day appointments for sick visits in order to provide a better environment of care than an urgent care or emergency room facility.
At Smyrna Pediatrics, patients also have the option to work with certified nurse practitioners, as well as physician assistants. These professionals offer late hours Monday and Wednesday evenings until 7pm Central Standard Time.
Parents and children can also access weekend hours. Smyrna Pediatrics opens on Saturdays between 8am and 11am for well and sick children visits. Saturday hours are offered during the months of September to February. The office accepts most insurance plans.
