📍COVID-19 Updates for Reopening The health and safety of our staff and clients remain our foremost concern. We are following all NYS guidelines, and will adjust as necessary to make us all safer. Please review the following information before your next appointment. Thank you! 📌 Salon Policies ▪️If you aren’t feeling well, call and reschedule. We will be enforcing our cancellation policy within 12 hours, rather than 24. ▪️Please wear a face covering with ear loops. ▪️Please avoid backpacks and anything larger than a purse. ▪️Come to your appointment alone. (No children, friends, or partners). ▪️Arrive on time, and with patience please. ▪️Sanitize your hands upon entering. ▪️Upon arriving to your chair, you will be greeted with an Oribe retail bag containing your gown and cutting cape (if receiving a haircut). We ask you to change into the gown and then place your purse or personal belongings into the bag. Your retail products when leaving will be placed in that bag as well. ▪️We have an updated menu. Haircuts have been increased by $5 to help us operate at half capacity. ▪️Shampoos will not include a scalp massage - we will look to limit your time at the bowls. 📌 Sanitation Guidelines ▪️Maintaining social distance between clients in salon chairs and reduced sinks. ▪️Reduced capacity to 50 percent. ▪️We will not be offering beverages or magazines under the new regulations. ▪️Heightened sanitation procedures throughout. ▪️Our staff is required to be tested for covid-19 prior to returning to work, and every 2 weeks thereafter for as long as were are in Phase 2. ▪️We will be conducting temperature checks for staff and clients upon arrival. Anyone with a temp over 100.4 will be turned away. 📌 Staff procedures ▪️Masks and shields are required for all stylists and assistants. ▪️All staff will receive a temperature check upon arriving to the salon. Anyone with a temp over 100.4 will be sent home. ▪️All tools to be sanitized (we've always practiced this) between clients. ▪️Enhanced hand and surface sanitation.

Hi friends! If you've been following the mayor and governor, it appears that NYC will be entering an orange zone, forcing the closure of salons. We're hoping that this is either avoided altogether, or that salons will be excluded. As it stands, all salons, indoor dining and bars are forced to close if we reach an orange zone. The mayor intimated that he expected us to enter the closure zone in the first week of December.
