I am so excited to have the opportunity to lead the sew fun! team! Our mission is to elevate the lost art of sewing and design and keep it ALIVE! Until this opportunity came along, I could only dream about a role that encompassed three of my passions- children, education, and sewing.
As a licensed Family Consumer Science teacher (formerly Home Economics) and school administrator, with over 19 years of experience in education, I have enjoyed teaching and mentoring children from age pre-K to grade 12 in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and Union County Public Schools systems.
