Today's veteran spotlight: Brock Kidd!
Brock has served in the United States Army since January of 2006. He has two deployments under his belt, and serves as a crew chief for multiple launch rocket systems!
His most memorable experience: "At our annual training one year when I first joined, the sergeants got all the privates (new people) to climb up on top of the vehicle and said to jump and down to check the suspension on an amoured vehicle. Then later on in my career, I was part of the sergeants who got the newest people to race around our training area, making race car noises and doing the shifting, spin outs and all. It was the best, passing on traditions to pass the time."
Brock is currently a lead technician for water mitigation. Thank you Brock, for your selfless service to your country and all your hard work here at ServiceMaster!
Our Veteran spotlight today is on our Furniture Medic, expert Randy!
"I joined the USN in 1980 and went to boot camp in San Diego, CA before transferring to C school at Balboa Hospital where I was put through Hospitalman training, also referred to as Corpsman; from there I was sent to my shore duty at Naval Regional Medical Center and served as SeniorCorpsman in a dermatology clinic for two years. That was the easy part.
My next duty station was Camp Lejeune with the 3rd Battallion 2nd Marine Division I company.
The most eye opening experience for me was in 1983 when we lost 241 fellow soldiers in Beirut by a sucide bomber. The friends I made during my military experience are to this day
the most precious and endearing of my life."
What sacrifice. Thannk you, Randy, for your service, sacrifice, and selflessness!
Today's veteran spotlight focuses on ServiceMaster team member John Creel!
John was active duty Navy from March 2006-March 2010 before serving in the reserves. John was an electrician's mate (responsible for operating a ship's electrical equipment). He enjoyed canoeing, snorkeling, and swimming in the waters of Palau.

Today's Veteran spotlight is Katie Weaver!
Katie served in the United States Army from June 1996 to November 2001. Her duty assignments included Camp Walker, South Korea, Fort Bragg, Fort Lewis, and a year of recruiting out of Redding, CA. She was a radio control operator and maintainer with a top secret clearance (31C).
Her most memorable moment was having the opportunity to play on the Army volleyball team while stationed overseas. She competed in and WON in Korea wide tournaments!
