I am an anesthesiologist with special training in obstetric anesthesia. While I provide anesthetic care to patients in most clinical settings, I focus on the care of pregnant and laboring women. I have a particular interest in high-risk pregnancies, and as Chief of Obstetric Anesthesia at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, I have been leading the busiest labor/delivery unit on the West Coast since 2012. I am also proud to provide a large part of the obstetric anesthesia training to residents from the University of Washington and Virginia Mason Medical Center. My wife, two young daughters, and I love living in Seattle and are constantly looking forward to the next sunny day!
