This promotes communication between myself and the patient, allowing for better history taking and outcomes. Trust. Healthcare has changed. I am now more of a health adviser. I present your options and will give you my opinion on the best course of action, but the patient drives the boat. Humor. Every appointment presents opportunities for levity.
