He is the assistant program director for the neurosurgery residency program. He has been involved with clinical and basic research in Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, gliomas, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, pituitary tumors, dysesthetic pain, trigeminal neuralgia, lumbar stenosis, acoustic tumors and arteriovenous malformations.
