Our propagation house is well underway for the 2021 season! The foliage green starts are rooting, ferns are looking better than ever, while spikes (dracaena) and asparagus ferns are going too. It might be a bit chilly outside but a warm 68 degrees in the greenhouse has us excited for the coming spring - stay warm out there!!

It's a beautiful thing when greenhouses are covered!! Cold but CALM morning today and we were able to get 2 more houses covered! 7 down, 3 more to go for the houses due up this year. Hoping to be all buttoned up before Thanksgiving!
Well last week we put perennial trays together and filled with soil in preparation of the frigid temperatures this week, but due to the ICE BOX we are currently living in, plant shipments have been delayed two weeks! Still nice to know pots are in the greenhouse ready for whenever plants show up. Well... it sure is nice to have a warm place to work when it gets nasty outside! We aren't very big fans of snow here at the Nursery - who else is like us and is ready for the sun to shine and for it to WARM UP?? We will go from one greenhouse to six houses up and running in the next few weeks.. BRING ON SPRING!!
