Today our Kindergarten class practiced self-portrait drawing techniques. The children were encouraged to compare and contrast their self-portraits as well as Frida Kahlo’s. Look at these artists go!

Election Day at Primrose isn’t about who wins or loses. It’s about showing the students why voting is important to all Americans and helping students understand civic involvement and citizenship in an engaging way. Our Election Day event is not associated with the current election; however, our very own Percy and Mia are running for the title of presidential Primrose Friend mascot.

The drive is one of our Primrose Promise™ Giving events, designed to help students learn the importance of giving back to their community through hands-on giving activities and projects.

Our Young Toddler classroom conducted circle time this morning using our Peanut Picture and Word Cards. These cards are used to introduce or reinforce vocabulary concepts and are generally used throughout the day by the teacher.
This unit is all about our world in motion! Today in Toddlers we learned about water and objects, or animals, that might move in the water. We used our sensory table and encouraged the children to pretend that the animals were swimming around.
