Dr. Fernando’s practice model is one that empowers patients with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. He believes in staying current with the latest medical literature and is a strong proponent of evidence-based medicine in guiding best clinical practices. Dr. Fernando is happy to be a part of SMC and recognizes the importance of women’s health in shaping the overall health of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He received his clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology in New York City under the guidance of Drs. Angela Kerr and Michael Cabbad at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
Dr. Fernando’s clinical interests include the management of pelvic pain, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, and high-risk obstetrical care.
