🎉We are happy to be celebrating with Dr. Zhang as she reaches the milestone of being 2 years cancer-free! 🎉
She shared her story in the University of Iowa Sarcoma newsletter, as seen below.
Congratulations Dr. Zhang!
Our office is closed today in celebration of the holiday. We will reopen tomorrow during normal business hours.
We wish you and your loved ones a Happy Labor Day!
Update for 8/16/2020:
We have power!
Our office will reopen tomorrow morning during normal business hours and we will see patients as scheduled. If your appointment was cancelled last week, we will do our best to get you in as quickly as we can. We will be reaching out to patients to reschedule, and you can also give us a call.
Thanks for your patience and understanding and we look forward to seeing you! 😊
Update for 8/14/2020 PM:
Our office remains without power so will be closed for this afternoon.
Our phone lines have been forwarded to another location so we will be able to take your calls as of the time of this post.
Our office phone number is 319-368-5500.
We are not able to reschedule appointments but are available to triage your questions and concerns and direct you to labor and delivery or the ER should that be necessary.
We hope to reopen Monday, 8/17/2020 during normal business hours and see patients as scheduled. We will work to get in all patients whose appointments were missed this week as soon as we are able; again we are not able to reschedule any appointments at this time.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Update for Friday 8/14/2020:
Unfortunately power remains out in our office.
We will be closed for the morning. We will post again around 1000 to update if we have power back to open our office this afternoon.
We thank you for your patience. We are also frustrated and anxious to get back to the office.
With the power out our phone lines will not work. If you have a medical emergency, please present to either hospital. Stay safe, everyone.

October is Ultrasound Awareness Month 😊
We would like to recognize our wonderful team of sonographers who do our obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds in the office.
Thanks to Kris, Johnette, Laine, Sarah, Allison, Cathy, Jen and Erika for all you do!
This week, some of our physicians were among those who received the first dose of the #covidvaccine!
We encourage anyone with questions regarding the vaccine to review the information below and ask their healthcare provider. We’d be happy to discuss specific concerns with you at an upcoming appointment.

Congratulations to Sonja Irlbeck who is celebrating her 25th Anniversary with our office!
Sonja began her career as a float nurse at OB-GYN Associates in 1996 (previously she worked at Principal Financial and St. Luke’s Labor & Delivery) working with the nurse practitioner and 2 physicians. In the summer of 1997, Dr. McCarron joined the practice and she became his primary nurse.
Sonja loves to read and is always up for a shopping spree. She spends time with her husband Scott, daughter Marin and her adorable Havanese puppy Millie.
Thank you for all you do, Sonja!
