October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To help combat domestic violence for individuals and families in the Oklahoma City metro area, our agency is partnering with other local Allstate agents by hosting a much-needed supply drive.
We will collect new, packaged items (see list below) to support victims of domestic violence and financial abuse who are working toward a violence-free future. Supplies collected will be used to help fulfill specific needs for the Shelter and Domestic Violence Programs of the YWCA of OKC. These supplies will aide in providing every day comforts to those who seek services.
You’re invited to join me in this effort by donating to our Brave and Beautiful Drive. You can drop off your donations at our location from October 7th through October 20th.
At the end of the drive, we will deliver all donated items to the YWCA of OKC. I want you to know how important your donations are to the YWCA of OKC Domestic Violence Shelter as well as the communities in which we live.
