Dr. Hancock first became interested in practicing medicine through the TV show M.A.S.H and from knowing his family friend who was a pediatrician. Medical oncology captured his imagination because of the inherent challenges and the rapid advances in research and treatment that were occurring at that time and have carried on to the present. The most rewarding part of practicing medicine for Dr. Hancock is taking care of his patients. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, mountain biking, playing hockey, skiing, hiking, camping, hunting and fly fishing with his wife and four daughters.
