About

Many people feel that the only time they need an eye exam is when they want to replace their eyeglasses. While it is important to see well, undesirable changes in your eye health can occur without affecting your vision! Do not rely on changes in your vision or on broken glasses to remind you of your next appointment. Follow the advice of experts and have your eyes examined on a regular basis. There is a big difference between a vision screening and a thorough eye examination. We offer state-of-the-art computer assisted eye health and vision examinations that will uncover hidden (without symptoms), potentially sight threatening eye disorders and diseases that are not found by a simple eye exam.We provide treatment and management of acute and chronic eye diseases ranging from glaucoma to dry eyes. Each of our doctors is certified and licensed to provide medical eye care. We offer post-operative care for many eye surgical procedures. We fit specialty contact lenses including the latest in toric (correcting for astigmatism), bifocal and daily disposable contact lenses. We are certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy. We are also experienced in fitting patients with keratoconus and other difficult cases.

Fireworks may be advertised like toys around the Fourth of July. You may think you know how to handle them safely. But playing with fireworks can blind you or your loved ones, so leave fireworks to the professionals. What to Do for a Fireworks Eye Injury Fireworks-related eye injuries can combine blunt force trauma, heat burns and chemical exposure. If an eye injury from fireworks occurs, it should be considered a medical emergency. Seek medical attention immediately. Do not rub your eyes. Do not rinse your eyes. Do not apply pressure. Do not remove any objects that are stuck in the eye. Do not apply ointments or take any blood-thinning pain medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen unless directed by a doctor.
