FYI. Crash course on ConLaw & Legal Construction - US Constitution, Article II, Section 2: the president "... he SHALL nominate ... Judges of the supreme Court ..." Does not say he 'may'.
So, when you hear politicians or the media saying the President shouldn't nominate anyone, they want him to violate the constitution for their own political ideology.
The Senate's a whole different set of Constitutional obligations.
Were/are politicians too extreme and arbitrary with their Covid-19 responses? If workers in nursing homes can safely go to work, why can't family members safely visit? Has hysteria caused the elderly, sick, hospitalized, depressed, etc., to become isolated in their greatest time of need. Why?

Election Law 101: States, not the US Congress, make election laws. Therefore, in the days to come, you may see what appear to be inconsistent court rulings. Not because the courts are inconsistent, but state laws are. You may see a Federal Court of Appeals or US Supreme Court making differing rulings based upon differing state laws. Example: One state may require mail-in votes must be received by 8PM on election day, where another state may simply require they be postmarked and received within 3 days. Don't stress!! Court battles are healthy and mean the system works to protect your legal vote. Turn off the news (I have) and enjoy the weekend. 🙂❤🇺🇸
