Knollwood, owned and funded by the Army Distaff Foundation, is a premier residential and healthcare community for retired military officers and their families. The Army Distaff Foundation provides financial assistance to those in need, ensuring that no eligible person is denied residency. Located in northwest Washington, D.C., Knollwood has four levels of care: independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, and the Special Care Center for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia.
