There wasn't a lot of activity at the KYC Clubhouse this summer, and we're all hoping that next season will see a return to the kinds of gatherings and events that are so important to the Kingman Community.
In the meantime, however, it's time to put the clubhouse to bed for the winter. Some furniture moving and light cleaning, and we'd appreciate your help. Many hands make light work....

As you probably noticed, our slips and moorings were completely sold out last summer. With COVID still very much in play, new boat sales at record levels and boating being more popular than ever, we expect 2021 to be just as busy.
We want very much to keep the Kingman Community together and to avoid turning anyone, especially returning Kingman Boaters and year-round customers, away. So if you'd like to come back next summer, or be a new member of our community, please let us know as soon as possible.

After a very long day ...
Feeling Centered at Kingman Yacht ...
It was probably inevitable that one of our crew would eventually test positive for COVID-19, and it has now happened. One of our office staff began to show symptoms at the end of last week, was tested, and was notified last night of positive test results. Even though the person has not been on the property for 8 days, to prevent any possibility of further exposure we have shut down Kingman Yacht Center operations, buildings and yard facilities at least through Monday, January 18th.
We have instructed our crew on next steps in keeping with our established, but ever-evolving protocol. Most office staff will be working remotely. Tenants and vendors should plan to stay away from the property for the next 4 days and may contact Michaela at michaela@kingmanyachtcenter.com if they have questions. Customers should please reach out to us by email and not visit the marina until Tuesday. We will let everyone know if there are any changes to this plan.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!
(Washington) In a bold attempt to provide spiritual relief to a winter-sick population, Congress has voted unanimously to bring more daylight to the nation by requiring that all U.S. citizens set their clocks ahead one hour this Sunday morning at 2:00AM.
When questioned about this unprecedented, bi-partisan legislation, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Shumer is quoted as saying, "No one gets up early around here. Let's brighten people's lives and put more daylight where the sun don't shine."
President Biden signed the emergency legislation immediately. The White House has dubbed the new law "Spring Ahead," and urges everyone to sacrifice the one hour of sleep this Saturday night for the greater public good. There has been no discussion of funding for this initiative.
So far, only the State of Arizona and the City of Indianapolis have opposed the legislation, although it is rumored that the State of Massachusetts has considered seceding from all domestic time zones in protest. Arizona's governor proclaimed that his state will "save its sunshine for a rainy day."
