Keren is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) who provides collaborative and solution-focused therapy in pregnancy and through the first year postpartum. Keren draws from attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness, to help alleviate suffering from the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She believes a combination of the above with a good dose of humor and compassion is an important part of providing support around the transition to parenthood. Keren is a Seattle native who obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2008, and enjoys making music, crafting, reading, and playing in nature with her family.
