You can sign up for it easily through your mobile app. It would take more time to read this whole post than to sign up for it.
Today while reviewing our policies that are renewing I saw a client's policy that was involved in an accident a couple of months ago.
Many people's first concern when they get into an accident is "What is this going to do to my rates?"
This client's renewal premium went down $20 per year.
Many of our clients don't have to worry about their rates changing after an accident.
Years ago I quoted a friend their car, house and umbrella insurance. They chose not to go with us because we were $200 a year more than what they were paying currently.
A few weeks later their teenage driver had an accident and damaged someone else's car.
They didn't want their rates to go up, so rather than file a claim they paid more than $1200 out of their pocket to repair the other person's car.
Our insurance program would have cost them cost them $200 more per year, but they would have been able to file that claim without any concern and no out of pocket expense. It would have taken 6 years for them to get back to break even.
Don't worry about having an accident. Stepping over dollars to save pennies.

One of the common misconceptions we explain regularly is who is at fault in a rear end accident.
Almost all of the time the party that rear ends someone else will be deemed to be at fault.
It doesn't matter if they brake check you, if they slam on their brakes for, what seems to you to be no reason, it is snowy and icy, or whatever.
You are responsible for maintaining a safe distance behind the car in front of you to account for those situations.
It was icy and snowy and slippery here this morning. Be careful!!
