8 Definitions To Help You Make Sense Of Your Insurance Policy
As a reminder to our patients, we are open! Our slots are filling up quickly so call or text us to schedule!
We have implemented a few guidelines to ensure patient, staff, and doctor safety:
1. All patients will be asked to call us upon arrival, and we will come out to grab your paperwork from you, and then again to bring you into the office for your appointment.
2. We are seeing one patient at a time, and only the patient and guardian. All other friends or family members will be required to sit in the car or circle back for the patient.
3. All patients MUST wear a mask while in the office. NO exceptions. If you have a condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, we kindly ask that you schedule for a a month or two out, for a time that they will hopefully not be required.
4. We are not dilating patients at the moment, but are still offering the Optomap. The Optomap is an instrument that takes a picture of the back of your eyes. It is highly recommended by both of our doctors, however, optional. It is an additional $39 cost, and all payments are due at the time of your exam.
5. Lastly, but certainly not least... if you, or someone that you have been in contact with over the last 14 days, have tested POSITIVE for the Coronavirus, or have exhibited symptoms, please STAY HOME. We can schedule you for a few weeks out but will not be able to see you at the moment.

Howlette Family Eye Care is now open - with just a few changes! Office hours, starting May 25 will be Mon-Sat 1130-5 (until further notice).
For now, we are seeing patients BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We are requiring paperwork be filled out prior to your exam and that you wear a mask the entire time that you are in the office. Additionally, you may not bring anyone into the office with you for your appointment, unless approved prior to the exam.
