It feels great to obtain results for our clients! We represent an injured worker whose employer refused to pay for his wrist surgery after the worker was injured on the job. The employer and their insurance company also , contrary to state law, refused to pay temporary disability benefits while the worker was held out of work. HFF took the employer to court and, over the course of two hearings, the judge ordered the employer and insurance carrier to pay for the wrist surgery and also ordered them to pay weekly benefits until the worker is medically released. Nothing makes us happier than winning for our clients!
HFF is happy to announce that we have filled the open paralegal position. We appreciate all the wonderful applicants that submitted resumes and interviewed. There is a plethora of talented legal professionals on the Coast and we were impressed by the depth and quality of applicants!

We'll be opening the office at 8am this morning and returning to normal business hours.
Give us a call if you had storm damage from Hurricane Zeta and your insurance company is denying coverage or not offering fair value to repair the damage. We're offering free consultations to discuss your legal options.
Just an update on opening the office post Hurricane Zeta. We now have electricity but no internet or phone service. For those reasons and most of our staff still not having electricity at home, we've decided to close the office today. We hope to reopen on Monday, 11/2/2020 but we'll make an announcement when we know for sure. If you need to reach us, you can still call us at 228-872-8752 and our answering service can try to connect you to us via our cell phones.
Our annual trip to @courtneyfarms to pick out pumpkins for the office and decorate the sign was a success! This annual field trip is a tradition and I think we’ve been doing this for about 6 years in a row.
Happy holidays to all our clients, friends, and families! HFF closed at noon today, December 23, 2020, and will remain closed until Monday, December 28 at 8:00AM. Even though we are closed, feel free to call the firm, as you can still leave messages through our answering service, and we will be checking messages over the break. We will try to get back to you as quickly as possible. We can also be reached through the chat service on our website or using the "email our law office today" form on the website. Again, we hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday break and we look forward to working with you again next week and in the New Year!
