Great Specs is still open. Due to the threat posed by the corona virus pandemic, we will temporarily institute a policy of scheduling appointments for services. Our hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 11-6, Friday: 11-5, and Saturday: 10-2. Other times may be available.
The goal of this policy is to regulate the number of clients in the store at any given time so as to lessen the likelihood of exposure of anyone to this virus. We ask that those who enter our store not be sick. While here, we will maintain a space of six feet between people except for when precision measurements and frame adjustments are necessary -- and during that time neither person should speak or cough.
We take the safety and health of the public and ourselves seriously. If you have an appointment, please arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible with the minimum number of people accompanying you. We are in the process of disinfecting all of the frames we have on display. Additionally, we are wearing exam gloves, so we are able to douse our hands with alcohol to disinfect them between clients.
