Just got a fresh shipment of new Fenders! I think we can all agree this has been a pretty overwhelming year so come in and pick up a guitar to bring your spirits up!
We are all set up for school rentals and we have spaced everything out as much as possible! To avoid crowding during this busy season we ask that you please not bring your whole family in to rent unless it’s absolutely necessary. One parent one child, if possible. We also have curbside and online options for those who prefer to not come in the store. Please see our website for more details. Thank you!
Fenders are finally starting to come in again! Come see us and get a guitar (or two) to keep yourself busy during these difficult times! Special pricing/ financing available on select guitars and amps!
We are pleased to announce that we are going to re-open our doors for business on Saturday, June 6th. While we are eagerly looking forward to serving our customers again, we are also concerned with providing a safe environment for everyone to shop in.
To this end, per state regulations, we will be requiring our customers to wear masks. We will also be managing the flow of customers into the store in order to maintain safe physical distancing. This may mean there will be an occasional wait to get into the store, so please allow yourselves some extra time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Weather permitting, we also plan to set up outdoor kiosks on the sidewalk in front of the store to expedite rental returns.
We know that many of you are anxious to return your rental instruments but we would like to avoid the potential overcrowding that may occur if everyone comes in to do this as soon as we re-open. If your next rental payment is not due right away, you might consider waiting just a little longer before you come in to help us “flatten the curve” of rental returns.
If your child is going to continue playing next year, you may want to think about keeping your instruments over the summer. That way, your child can continue their musical progress and you will not lose the rental equity you have built up over the school year. We will be happy to discuss these options with you in further detail.
We hope to see you soon and we hope you have a safe summer!
Summer hours:
Mon-Thurs: 11-7
Fri- Sat: 10-6
Sunday: closed
Please call us at 703-533-7393 if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Foxes
Dear Friends,
We have tried to keep our doors open as long as possible during this pandemic, but in the interest of the health and safety of our employees and patrons we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close effective April 12th until this crisis subsides.
We apologize for this inconvenience to our customers, especially those who are renting instruments from us. Obviously, we will be unable to accept rental returns during this time. Since online music classes will begin next week in the public schools, we hope most of you will keep your instruments through the rest of the semester. For those of you who need to return but cannot, adjustments can be made to your account when we re-open. Please email Joyce Rumingan at jrumingan@foxesmusic.com if you have any questions about your account. We can even schedule an appointment if necessary in case of an emergency situation.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR RENTAL INSTRUMENTS OUTSIDE OUR STORE. YOUR INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER THIS AND YOU WILL BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTRUMENT.
For any other questions or requests, please contact us through our website at www.foxesmusic.com or email us at orders@foxesmusic.com .
If you currently have an instrument in our shop for repair we will contact you to arrange a pick-up appointment when it comes back.
We are grateful for your business and we will see you again on the other side of this ordeal. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR OUR RENTAL CUSTOMERS
If you are currently renting an instrument for your child in the school Band or Strings program, we would like for you to be aware of the following information:
While public school buildings are closed through the end of the school year, your child’s education is not over for the rest of the term. Northern Virginia’s public schools are all proceeding with long distance learning plans to finish out the academic year, and music instruction will be an essential component of this curriculum.
Online instrumental classes are already underway in Arlington, Loudoun and Alexandria, and Fairfax County is finalizing their plans for distance learning. According to the FCPS website, this will include learning packets, video broadcasts, online lessons posted to Blackboard and scheduled web chats. Band and Orchestra classes are part of this comprehensive plan.
So before you make the decision to return your rental instrument, we urge you to be patient and wait for your school system to roll out their plans. We have been told that the anticipated start date for Fairfax County is April 14th. Until then, we encourage you to keep your instrument and practice so you will be ready when the time comes. You can contact your music teacher for information about learning materials that might be currently available online.
Now that rental season is winding down we will be going back to regular hours and closing at 8pm! Please spread the word. Check out our new and improved website for any questions regarding our hours or rentals/sales. As always, stay safe!
At last... the long awaited Uptown Strat has arrived and it’s a beauty! Only 300 made so hurry before it’s gone! Also in, a limited edition Blues Jr. in graffiti yellow with a special 12” speaker.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We have some great Black Friday deals if you’re looking for that special gift for someone so come by or call us for more information. We would also like to remind everyone that we offer curbside pickup for just about everything as well as online ordering for rental instruments and guitars (see our Reverb store for more info on guitar selection) so please take advantage of that if you can and help us keep the store safe!
