Most recently in 2008, Dr. Fladoos served on the Healthcare Reform Committee for the Oregon legislature. Dr. Fladoos helped found The Complementary Healthcare Group in 1989, which has become one of the largest alternative care provider PPO's in Oregon. He served on the CHG board from 1989 through 2004. Dr. Fladoos also is involved deeply in the local community. He was a member of the Oregon Lions in Roseway from 1977 to 1990, receiving the Al Everist Community Service Award. He has served in all governing positions of the Roseway Lions club. From 2003 through 2008, Dr. Fladoos served on the Board of Arthur Academy, helping start seven charter schools serving seven school districts throughout urban and rural Portland. Currently Dr. Fladoos, as a founding board member, is helping start another charter school system focused on the underserved and low income families in Portland and rural areas.
