Gatlinburg Sign by Custom Craftsman Signs Featured on Cover of National Magazine
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn., (March 14, 2016) – Nationally distributed Signs and Digital Graphics Magazine is currently featuring the dazzling sign for IX NUBES Vape Lounge in Gatlinburg, Tenn. prominently on the cover of its March, 2016 issue. The one-of-a-kind sign was designed by Brother Zank and created by Custom Craftsman Signs, an internationally acclaimed custom sign design and production company in business for nearly three decades in Sevierville, Tenn.
Since late last year, tourists and locals have been marveling at the combination wall and projecting mounted IX NUBES Vape Lounge signs on the “Main” Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg. Zank, founder and owner of Custom Craftsman Signs, was thrilled by the news from the editors at Sign and Digital Graphics that the “Steam Punk”-style signs would grace the cover of their industry-standard magazine.
“Owners of IX NUBES Vape Lounge (738 Parkway #4, Gatlinburg) Angel Jackson and Alan Michael Dunlow were a joy to work with,” Zank said. “Allowing great creative freedom results in a designer’s best work. The artistic finishes applied by local artist Chris Myers launched it over the top – A big thanks to all our crew and the many contributors to making this a successful project.”

The IX NUBES Vape Lounge signs took over four months to create from design to production to storefront installation. The signs feature both internal and external lighting and hand-carved and hand-painted elements intertwined with metallic ornamentation that all contribute to giving the signs their unique and award-winning style.
