The wall mural is finally done (for now)! More pictures will come soon but here are some unfinished-close to finished pictures! I say “for now” because there might be something special to be added to it in the near future, so keep an eye out for anything to pop up about this wall mural!
I don’t know if everyone knew, but this was my first wall mural I have ever designed and painted! There’s room for improvements and definitely a learning experience! Please go check it out while you stop by and get some ice cream at the Cattle & Cream store! This was project to remember for sure!
Thank you everyone who came, commented, and supported me throughout the process! It has been fun to do and fun to see people’s reaction to it!

Alright let’s talk about details here! I have way too much fun doing detailing because that’s what ties this whole thing together!
So many of you know I’ve been working on this wall mural throughout the month. This is the first time I’ve ever done a wall mural and let me tell ya, it’s all fun but not easy!
I would be working on it anywhere from 3-5 hours a day on it; but only on the time and days I could because of school and work. Doing this project in the hot sun has never really bothered me but it will make me sweat! Now I’m in the detailing stage and starting the rest of this wall! We will be holding a special event for the wall mural very soon, so watch out for that!
The wall mural is almost done, next week there will be more times and days available to visit me while I work on it! So please keep an eye open for those days on my Story!

The Village of Cherry Valley and the Cherry Valley Men’s Club have partnered to bring an Armed Forces Memorial to Cherry Valley. The Cherry Valley Men’s Club believes ALL Veterans should be remembered for their courage in protecting our homeland. If you would like to donate to help bring this project to reality, visit the library to pick up a brochure and a donation slip!
Phase I of this project, which includes installing flag poles with five Service Flags and an American Flag plus LED lights to illuminate each flag at night is scheduled to be complete by Memorial Day 2021. For more information, reach out to Sparky Prisby at sparkyprisby@comcast.net
