Harris Hospitalist Services is a specialty involving the comprehensive treatment of hospital inpatients by specially-trained physicians. Hospitalists are medical doctors who are responsible for overseeing your care while you are in the hospital. Much like primary care physicians making rounds on patients, hospitalists track your progress and work with other members of the care team, as well as consult with your primary care physician during your hospital stay.
