Before rumors get out of hand, I'd like to clarify something. Yes, Canine Oasis is under contract to a new owner. It is set to close at the end of the month. I will still be a part of the day to day operations and the staff will remain the same. This new owner brings years of experience with dogs. She is an award winning groomer and her specialty is grooming show dogs. She professionally shows dogs that she breeds and trains. She loves our place and our staff and we love her. She has a huge facility in WI and is tired of dealing with snow and cold. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dogs, more so than anyone I've met in the dog world in the past. Everything is going to run just as it is now. Changes will come, but, they will be for the better. Please come meet her when I officially post that she has taken over. Thank you all for your support these past 2.5 years. I'm grateful for all of you, because YOU made this business a success.
It's official, Canine Oasis is in the trusted hands of the new owner Lisa Schinker. Please bear with her and the staff as switching over one owner to another has It's own set of issues. All the staff that you know and love are still there to serve you. I wish her many years of success. Thank you to all clients that have been so supportive of the place I love so much.

It states permanently closed on this page because the original Canine Oasis was closed on 9-30-2020. The boarding facility is still open, but, they did not wish to have our old number. If you are trying to reach them, either go there in person or call information for the new number. I do not have it.

There's a new facility in Madison on 72 for boarding. It's called the Ark. I went there today and it is CLEAN. 3 daycare yards, daycare is included with board. Turn out is 6 am to 7 am, up for breakfast, back out until 10:45. Up from 10:45 until 1 pm. Back out from 1 pm until 4 pm. Dinner is from 4-6 pm, then last potty break from 6-7 pm. Employees leave at 8 pm. Nice place, seems like great employees and VERY CLEAN. Kennels are gator kennels, which are good ones. They also offer Sunday pick up from 10-1 and 4-6 and are open all day Saturday from 8-5 pm. 256.325.0157
This is posted because I know from past experience some people do like Sunday pick up and this facility is open all day on a Saturday.
No need for negative comments about this post either, people have a right to chose and I saw this place today as I was driving by and checked it out myself and liked it. Nothing more, nothing less. It's about choices. The other facility I have loved in the past is Cove Pets in Hampton Cove, still do. In fact, when we were full we would recommend Cove Pets and other places we felt were clean and safe, it's what you do when you care about pets.
