Heather Leslie-Brown, MD is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist at Brown’s Women’s Care in Monroe, North Carolina. Since 1999, for over 18 years, she has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology, working in various practice settings in Virginia, New York, and North Carolina. Recently, she drew upon her vast experience and opened her private practice to offer comprehensive and personal care to women in Monroe and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Leslie-Brown completed her undergraduate education at Howard University in Washington D.C. and went on to medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
From there, Dr. Leslie-Brown went on to serve as Clinical Instructor in the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program from 2002 to 2006 in Syracuse, New York. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In the summer of 2007, Dr. Leslie-Brown moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina, area with her husband and daughter and worked part time while caring for her young child. Since 2008, she has practiced full time in Monroe, North Carolina. She decided to open her private practice, Brown’s Women’s Care, in 2010 to provide a more technologically advanced yet personal experience for the women of Union and neighboring counties.
