Due to COVID19 and the recommendations being made by the AMA and AAO, Atlanta Ophthalmology Associates will be closed for the next several weeks. Our phone lines will be available for emergencies as well as medication refills and questions. We are working diligently to be able to reopen and will keep all our patients updated as much as we can. We wish you all to stay safe and well during this time.

I am so proud to know this incredible doctor and her amazing husband. They have both made huge contributions to glaucoma as well as many other eye conditions. Atlanta is lucky to have such pioneering innovators so close to home for the treatment of glaucoma, a silent sight stealing disease.
Dr. Mary Lynch, congratulations on this recognition from your peers around the country, You and Dr. Reay Brown deserve all accolades you are being awarded for your work to retain vision for the rest of us!

March is workplace eye safety month. Even if you don’t work in a place that requires safety goggles, there are things that you should be aware of to protect your eyes. Remember the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

Glenridge Medical now has valet service. Handicapped parking is now in the rear of the building. If you choose valet, go through the drop off area to have the valet park your car. ($8-$10). If you park in the back, the regular hourly rates apply. There are 2 ramps into the building, one going up to the first floor. The shorter route is the down ramp to the Terrace level, then up one floor by elevator to the 1st floor for our suite.
AOA will open at our usual time on Tuesday. If you have an afternoon appointment, please call if the weather looks hazardous for driving. We will not open until 9:45 on Wednesday, Jan. 30th.
Be safe.
