Tricia Fantinato, JD, MBA-A, MAS is an airport attorney and advisor with more than 20 years in airport law, compliance, policy, contract management, infrastructure planning, and operations. She has served as an adviser or project lead for the construction or development of 80+ airports (75+ in the U.S and 6 international), 4 Greenfield Airport Development Projects in both the U.S. and overseas, 3 hospital helipads, and 20+ construction management companies.
With a career-long emphasis on innovation and evolving technologies, Tricia is regularly relied on to find practical solutions to atypical, novel, or complex problems. Following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, she quickly became a subject matter expert in airport security and airport emergency management, helping expand security, operations, and infrastructure in nearly 10 commercial airports. More recently, Tricia has been focused on federal policy and airport security recommendations related to drones, autonomous vehicles, and unmanned aerial systems.
In 2018, Tricia formed her own consulting firm to counsel airports, including long-term clients. Her focus is on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Unmanned Space Systems, autonomous vehicles and other emerging/evolving transportation technologies as it relates to compliance and airport integration.
