Last week, David and Grace Barrett-Johnson made the most of the unseasonably warm weather by going on a father-daughter bike ride! Western Albemarle is truly beautiful, but David claims he gets a bit tired of watching her float up hill after hill, while he looks like Sisyphus having a bad day. (Grace is doing her first ultramarathon trail race on March 13, the No Man’s 50K, so he doesn't feel entirely bad for getting constantly upstaged.) They put the bikes on the back of the Nissan Leaf, which she's been driving for over five years now, so the whole thing was an exercise in carbon neutrality.
