As we head into the final weeks of summer, now is a good time to check your inventory of flea and tick meds and prevent these little pests from latching on to your pets for a ride home.
Give us a call and order your pets’ medication like flea, tick and heart worm preventives over the phone! We’ll have it ready to be picked up curbside.
Hiya! It’s National Dog Day! Let’s hear it for the DOGS !!
Those treats add up! 😱
A little for you is a lot for your pet. For reference, here’s some pet to human food ratios.
Sharing human treats with your pet can lead to unhealthy weight gain, vomiting, diarrhea, and pancreatitis. Please think twice and consider a nutritious doggie or kitty treat!

The Veterinary Professionals at Ardmore Animal Hospital are an amazing group of caring, talented and dedicated people. From the doctors to the techs to the front desk receptionists, every day I see each of them giving their heart to every patient that walks through our doors. Whether it is at the beginning with a newly adopted friend or even at the end when saying goodbye is the hardest thing anyone can do, these professionals show true compassion and genuine kindness. Even more, during these most uncertain and INCREDIBLY stressful times, these professionals came in everyday knowing and understanding the risks to themselves but believing the care of their patients eclipsed any hesitation on their part. So during this week that we normally show our appreciation to our Veterinary Technicians, I would like to thank ALL Veterinary Professionals for all they do, each and every day.
With great honor,
Maanami Smith
