This can be a tricky thing to figure out! Here’s how it works: if you have a motorhome or an RV (i.e. you can drive it by yourself), it needs to be covered with a motorhome policy. If you have a 5th wheeler or a trailer (i.e. you attach it to a vehicle to drive), it’s covered with an auto policy (the liability for 5th wheelers and trailers comes from the vehicle it’s being pulled with)! As always, if you have any questions you can ALWAYS call your agent! We are happy to help!
